First of all, you need to be able to fold your handkerchief properly. That's why we've made a guide for you, so you can fold your new handkerchief just right. In this guide, we show you two ways to fold: One Corner Up and Two Corner Up. These are the two most popular, simple and elegant methods of folding a handkerchief.
One Corner Up
- Start by laying the handkerchief completely flat on a table or similar flat surface.
- Then you drag one corner over to the opposite corner, so that the handkerchief forms a triangle.
- Now you take one tip of the triangle and fold it inside, so that there is a third of the fabric that is not double covered.
- You then take the last third and place it over the other tip.
- You now have the complete fold and all that remains is just a matter of putting it in your breast pocket. This is where you can make the last small adjustments so that it looks how want it.
Two Corner Up
- Start by laying the handkerchief completely flat on a table or similar flat surface.
- Then you pull one corner over to the opposite corner of the handkerchief, but it must be slightly offset, so that you get 2 points.
- Then you take one tip and fold inwards.
- Now you take the second tip and fold it over the first.
- You should now have 2 corners on the cloth, and you can place it in your breast pocket.
